Bob Proctor and Master Yoda about life

A Christmas preparation at a nearby shopping center today

I had a bit of free time today and I was reading Bob Proctor's "You Were Born Rich."

I had read this book a few times and I thought I understood most of it.  But today, I realized I was not really understanding what he calls the most important part.

He says that unless you understand this chapter, everything written in the book won't work.  I thought I understood the chapter but I did not.

My version of summary is
"if you want to live a happy life, you have to think about yourself having a happy life."

Up to this point, I had been familiar with.

But here is the next part.
"Also, you have to believe that your thoughts can change the world around you."

Usual people think that things happen, and then you can think about it.  He is saying believe that you have the power to change what will happen to you, by thinking.

In a way it is similar to what Master Yoda is saying.
"Do, or do not.  There is no try."

In another word, if you try doing something, you do your part and see what will happen to you.  The master is saying, don't try and leave it up to chance.   Know you have the power to decide.

May the force be with us.
